For what it is worth, those living around Newmarket (Yonge and Green Lane), a Costco gas station will be coming up soon. Construction has begun. I wonder what Husky, Shell and Petro Canada around the street will do. Would love to see price wars????

Great, it was a zoo there to begin with.
Hopefully the stations in the area will lower their retails like the they have in and around the Queensway Costco.

It was already bad enough.. They're going to have to revise the lights in/out of that complex.

From what I see in the Etobico*ke Costco, gas stations around the area will drop their regular grade price about 2-3 cents.

For those who have been to a Costco gas station, are there less people in the morning when they open or in the evening when they close? Or it does not matter as they are always busy. Thanks.

Less when they open. There's a lot during the evening, depending if gas is going up or down and what day it is etc. I fill up as soon as they open since its only a bit out of my way to work. If you don't arrive early, you'll line up, but its only a few cars wait. Nothing big.
Seems this one opens much later, 7am. Whereas the Scarborough one opens at 6:30 and they open it 5 - 10 minutes early.

Way to go costco.
However..the line-ups begs whether or not burning the fuel and your time is really worth the extra savings.

Costco Store itself opens at 10am. So there is less line up in morning between 7am - 9am, as only members who needs to pump will be visiting.

Costco gas price is regular gas price minus 5 cents. Unless, you're up north, which Barrie Costco is 10 cents less.
