As an Data Engineer II here you are passionate about using software-based approaches to solve complex data-driven challenges and automate those solutions. Within our organization, you'll lead efforts aimed at scaling our existing data offerings and establish the technical strategy for how we can *** ter equip engineers and leaders with Data Platform. General summary
As the Resource Planning Senior FP&A Manager, you manage one of Resource Planning FP&A CoE teams responsible for planning, reporting and analysis of global personnel related costs for annual $5Bn+ cost spend and 40 000 employees in 50+ locations.

Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high quality forecasting, reporting and analysis in the cost of organization domain that supports the business partners in decision making. You will manage a team FP&A analysts and you ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed within the team. You will deploy world class end to end financial processes within the compensation and benefits domain and ensure alignment with other functions and business partners.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and develop team of analysts who support cost of organization planning, reporting and analytics
- Ensure deep knowledge within the team related to cost of personnel domain (knowledge transfer, documentation)
- Design and maintain personnel cost KPIs and benchmarking analysis which can be reviewed on regular basis by business
- Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within managed personnel cost domain and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of these processes
- Provide high quality financial information and insights to business partners and finance leadership related to managed cost of organization
- Work proactively together with the Business Partners on special projects in the area of personnel costs (system implementations, standard process design, development of required reporting)
- Supporting the month end close process from an FP&A perspective with vari+B24ance analysis focusing on personnel cost
- Performing detailed reviews of headcount and staff costs with HR partners and business
- Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business
- Monitor actuals utilization vs budget/prior year and provide required commentary on key variances
- Coordinate planning and forecasting of personnel cost of P&L (process governance and execution)
- Support with productivity analysis, reports and control
- Advise and drive developments in systems (e.g. EPM/visualization self ser *** das *** ards) to provide more accurate and timely reporting

Requirements
5+ years of working experience in FP&A Finance function
CIMA/ACCA qualified or edcution in progress desired
Experience in managing teams of 5+ employees
Working experience with financial control, management reporting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment
Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and to translate this into concrete actions
Project management, change management and process improvement experience
Experiance in working with EPM solutions for planning and reporting (ie. SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The Role

This role will work closely with the Senior Programming Coordinator and the wider ANZ Programming team to execute the scheduling vision in accordance with the content strategy across Discovery Australia and NZ.

You will oversee the input and management of detailed broadcast and digital schedules (as allocated) ensuring all key stakeholders are updated as to achieve the best performance possible.

Your new role...

The Hardware Asset Management Analyst I is a member of the Hardware Asset Management team and has three primary areas of responsibility for WBD; IT Asset Identification and Tracking, Technology Asset Disposition and Asset Lifecycle Management. This role requires knowledge of all IT hardware and operates in live broadcast, live studio production, and live signal supply chain areas, so previous experience with sensitive *** environments is necessary.

Asset Identification and Tracking

• Responsible for coordinating local order logistics, order reconciliation of IT technology assets, asset record creation, asset record maintenance and asset distribution to worldwide support teams, for all of WBD's IT acquisitions (see terms)

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and will assist with month-end closing and monthly analytics of actual results. • Perform and assist with AdHoc and/or special projects, as needed, but expected on a regular basis

Qualifications & Experience...

Job Purpose:

The Tax Specialist assists in local tax compliance and controversy for WBD's business units in Asia Pacific; prepares the internal US tax reporting documents; and is responsible for the withholding tax processes.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Internal US Tax Reporting:

• Prepare quarterly and year-end tax packages, provision calculation, cash tax forecast, and other supporting schedules

2) Asia Pacific Tax Compliance and Controversy:

• Manage tax filing deadline and prepare/review annual tax returns for Asia Pacific countries
• Prepare/review the response letters to tax authorities' enquiry letter for Asia Pacific countries
• Work with external tax advisers on tax audits

3) Withholding tax supporting activities:

• Prepare/review withholding tax returns for *** *** entities in Asia Pacific
• Assist in handling processes for tax treaty forms, lower withholding tax rate applications, residency certificates, and cross-broader remittances
• Co-ordinate and assist in handling the withholding tax certificates request/queries from various third-party vendors in Asia Pacific
• Co-ordinate, liaise, collect and review the foreign withholding tax receipts received from third-party customers in Asia Pacific for United States foreign tax credit claim purposes

4) Other duties

• Collaborate with various stakeholders (Finance, legal, corp sec, etc.) to obtain information and ensure proper documentation to support the positions taken in the Returns lodged including tax audit replies

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skill Set:

Work Experience

• Experience in Asia Pacific regional tax, preferably in Big 4 accounting firms and/or large (preferably US-based) multi-national corporations
• 2-4 years of experience

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

• Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or law
• CPA, ACA or ACCA qualification

Knowledge/Skills

• Fluent in English verbal and written communication skills
• Above average skills in numerical and organizational skills

Other Requirements

• Broad knowledge and experience in developing excellent business relationships with a wide variety of talented people across cultures, countries and time zones

The Manager/Senior Manager, Direct to Consumer Legal, EMEA is responsible for all legal aspects of our fast-paced and ever-growing direct-to-consumer business.

Based in London, this position will form part of the Direct to Consumer and Streaming (D2C) EMEA Legal team. The role reports to the D2C Regional Legal Lead for EMEA. The D2C Legal team (with lawyers based in the US and the UK) has an international remit and provides comprehensive and proactive legal support to *** Discovery's global digital businesses: Max and discovery+ (including *** Sport). Digital is a core growth area and a key priority for *** Discovery as it continues to expand its portfolio of direct-to-consumer SVOD, AVOD and digital content services, making it a dynamic and exciting environment to work in.

Key Responsibilities:

Consumer and Marketing

• Work closely with key stakeholders on the global rollout of new digital product launches.
• Provide support across the consumer lifecycle/experience, including advising on product development, buyflows, subscription models and pricing, promotions, customer support and complaints.
• Advising on a wide range of consumer, regulatory and marketing law issues.
• Advertising, marketing and promotional campaign clearance and events for both the D2C services and content
• Liaising with the global compliance teams to ensure product compliance across all markets.
• A proven track record in product development and marketing are key to the role.

Commercial Agreements

• Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including in respect of (without limitation) promotional partnerships, events, consultancy services, i *** uencers, sponsorships, marketing, creative agencies, advertising and confidentiality.
• Work closely with our international legal team to advise on digital distribution agreements with key affiliate and global partners, including content distribution agreements with OTT platform providers and app stores.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on Ad Tech agreements including SSP, DSP and DMP agreements.

General Responsibilities

• Create and update relevant policies and template agreements.
• Work closely with the regional legal teams globally to navigate legal restrictions, improve efficiencies, and implement best practices.
• Liaise with the Finance, Tax, Data Protection, Information Security, Procurement, Risk Management, Ethics and Compliance and Employment teams as appropriate

Capabilities:

Skills & Experience

• A technically very proficient lawyer
• An excellent understanding of product development, consumer law and marketing experience essential
• Experience working in a digital *** , technology and/or broadcast *** company would be a key advantage
• Good business and legal judgment and a flexible and creative approach
• Must be a UK-qualified lawyer or common law equivalent with approximately 3-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE is given as a guide only, this will not be a determining factor of suitability and applicants of other levels of PQE may apply) and excellent academics. Training and experience at a top City law firm is an advantage.
• Good commercial knowledge and an ability to 'think outside the box' is essential - recognising the potential impact on other areas of *** Discovery's business or revenue streams, involving relevant stakeholders as appropriate.
• Negotiation skills must be proven - to deliver both proper legal protection to company and excellent commercial results.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, *** Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
