Fantastic experience: Definitely the best gym in the Leavenworth area! Excellent support! Great atmosphere surrounded by those who are eager to help if needed. For those who want to just do your own thing, you’re all good there, too. Need an extra push? Hire a trainer or take part in one of the many classes offered to enhance strength, cardiovascular ability, endurance, and flexibility. Need motivation? Someone is always there to motivate. Tristan, David, Michael, and Jeff are a few of the great trainers available. The gym also offers special events to help you stay in track or max your PR.The only complaints are fixing the men’s steam room which I understand is in the works and some better heating for the yoga studio.:)

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Calvin helped me get signed up for my membership, explained everything to me with also very reasonable prices and answered all my questions. Loving it so far!

Fantastic experience: So far so good. David was very helpful getting my membership set up, all the staff have been polite and professional. They just need to finish the sauna so its back in working order

Fantastic experience: It's clean, staff are friendly and helpful, trainers know their jobs, and they keep up on maintenance, both facility and equipment. Clearly, others have had a different experience. They have new on-site management. I've been a member since Feb '22. To me, it's like "Globo-Gym with an Average Joe's vibe" and I don't find them over-priced for the service.

Fantastic experience: I am happy to be a member at Genesis Health Club. I enjoy my workout sessions with my trainer Tristan. She really motivates me in reaching my goals which is weight loss and building muscle mass. She is also knowledgeable about nutrition. If you need someone to help you in weightloss, maintaining your weight, building muscle mass or help with the ACFT, she's the person for you.

Fantastic experience: Would give this gym a 6 star rating if possible. I’m from out of town and was just looking to check out a gym. Absolutely loved my experience. Reminds me of the movie “Pain and Gain” with Mark Wahlberg. Wish this gym was in my hometown.

Fantastic experience: Genesis Health Clubs—LV—is the where the area’s top contender for delivery of quality physical fitness behaviors. Every staff member employed here, from the certified personal trainers to the custodians to the group X instructors, are superb in tasks of responsibility, demonstrate knowledgeable information, and are friendly and considerate. Members are willing to assist every new person who is curious about trying a new physical activity class. I’m confident that I’m going to continue belonging here for a while.

Fantastic experience: I was only in the area temporarily, but am glad I discovered this place! I got to take advantage of a three day free pass while in the Leavenworth area. The staff (I believe the gentleman who showed me around when I first showed up, was Davis) and the equipment (both amount and condition) were definitely above what I had initially expected. The only issue I had with my experience was that I knew I did not have this gym close enough to my hometown to go to.

Fantastic experience: If you want a quality gym this is the place to be! Here you feel like a member. The staff is very polite and professional and do good job making sure the gym is clean and in working order for the members. The proteins shakes are a great way to end a workout and start your day!

Fantastic experience: Matt the fitness advisor is the man. He engages with all gym clients and is very helpful and understanding with any matter a client may have. I have only been a member for a little over 3 weeks and he has been nothing but helpful and engaging. These are the type of fitness advisors I love to interact with. I just might renew my membership just because of his great customer service.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member now for over four years. I have also used a personal trainer for most of that time and been very happy with this program. They are pleasant and flexible with their schedule when needed. I would recommend personal training to meet your individual goals. I also enjoy group classes and all instructors are very capable and professional. It has been a super experience! My trainer Megan is fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I work here and love the staff I work with, everyone is hardworking and caring for all of the members. We try our absolute best to stay clean and provide top quality for everyone and anyone coming in. I really love the people at this gym and the conversations we have. I get a protein shake every time I work and I dont ever want to make one at home again haha. Anyways I love working at this gym.

What sealed the deal was I had a friend who had a problem at a different location and the manger at the this gym handled it right away!! I literally won’t go to any other gym!!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Quality The staff is very nice and the equipment is always kept in good shape. I go there with my friends to play basketball a lot, and we always have such a great time. Then we go to the gym afterwards and work out.

Clean and wide variety of equipment. Even a lap pool and sauna! Friendly atmosphere. Never felt awkward as a newbie, only welcomed.

Fantastic experience: Ryan the club manager was super courteous and helpful. The trainers have been great, but most importantly with covid a constant scare I've never seen a cleaner gym!

She gave me a tour and told me all that was included in the membership. Any time I have to be in town today will absolutely visit genesis

If you’re looking to join a gym, Genesis Health Clubs is by far the best choice. The gym is clean, large, and has the best selection of fitness opportunities in the area.

Fantastic experience: The Front desk and FAs are all very welcoming and nice. Cleaning did a great job of making sure the locker rooms were clean. Jake was amazing when educating me on a membership and gym tour!

Fantastic experience: Every time I go for a workout I am greeted by a professional and the gym is always clean. The facility is a step above any other offered in the area offering much more than most gyms including swimming and my favorite pickle ball! The showers are clean as well and after my workout I can be off to my job. Thanks Genesis for going above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Having a regular exercise routine and finding a gym that has all your needs can be difficult. Genesis makes all this easy. They offer many fitness classes, trainers and a considerable amount of equipment. The staff/instructors are encouraging and helpful in assisting me to achieve my fitness goal. Not only am I becoming a better me but making friends in this process is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I think Genesis is wonderful~~from the great instructors to the fun workout classes!!! ALL of the instructors who teach the classes I attend are amazing and so interested in making the classes fun, yet challenging. Also, the options if you have injuries or pain are always appreciated and you do not have to forfeit your workout. I love to come to class! One more very important thing~~the instructors know you by name~~that makes everyone feel special!!! My husband attends Genesis for Pickleball and always has a great time!! ~~Vicki Black

Fantastic experience: I love the Genesis facility in Leavenworth Ks! They have great classes (number of/variety/quality). All the instructors are very knowledgeable and make the class fun. They have a great lap pool which is also used for the aqua aerobic classes. The exercise equipment is always well maintained with a large variety and availability. They also have Pickleball courts available several days a week.

Fantastic experience: Usually clean. Kind and courteous staff. Instructors are die hards, upbeat and motivating. One of the best decisions I have ever made was to begin my fitness journey in one of the best gyms around.

Fantastic experience: I have been very happy with all aspects of my Genesis membership. The classes are excellent and are staffed with true professionals. I feel that I have benefitted the most from participation in a variety of Genesis classes. I also use the weight room and have worked with several personal trainers who have helped me develop a personal program that works for me. My only regret...I wish I had been offered one of the "deals" that Genesis is currently offering. As a retiree who is paying a rather expensive monthly fee I would have really appreciated an offer like these.

Fantastic experience: All the staff is very friendly, but I want to point out one particular staff member her name is Nicole in the Leavenworth area she's always willing to help even when she is not training you,and she is always willing to explain when you ask a question, and always with a smile. I like the pool area and hot Tub & Sauna that is the biggest draw to the club that's why I joined everything else is great, I guess one thing I would like to see the pool area being a little cleaner..But I would recommend to go there if you want to make a fresh start with your health.

Fantastic experience: Was allowed a guest pass for a few days and really came away impressed. Not sure about the cost of a membership, but a guest pass for the weekend was around $15. They have so many different options for working out and staying healthy. The equipment were all in great shape and the staff was more than welcoming/helpful. I only wish they had a sauna to go along with their steam room. Overall, I would go back when I am back in town.

Fantastic experience: Love coming to workout here. It's spacious and not over crowded even at peak times like 6am. The staff always speaks and is super helpful. Once I locked myself out of my locker and everyone was kind about helping me get it opened. I really appreciated that.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and humorous staff as far as the application process goes. Any question myself or my wife had was answered with exact precision. It didn’t matter if that associate didn’t work in that realm, they knew the answer. The equipment is very well taken care of, and the facilities are very hygenically sound as well. The daycare staff also ensures children have a proper ratio of care as far as manning goes. I’m looking forward to my second gym experience with genesis as I am a previous member. Great job keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I think this is a great club as for size and offerings. A's all clubs experience months when there are tons of people and other months when the crowd thins, even in the busiest months I have never had to interrupt my workout. Rearrange the order of stations maybe, but never have I missed my complete workout. The variety of stations is excellent from machines to free weights. The classes offered and included with a membership are also varied and cover most people's needs and interests. The instructors are knowledgeable and desire each patron's success, getting to know each who attend by name. The pool is probably underutilized, but it, too, has capable instructors, and it is open otherwise to all when there are no classes in session. The steam room is nice after a hard workout. The locker room is adequately sized and I have never been without a locker. It is kept regularly cleaned throughout the day by staff and they try to keep things in the gym in their place so they are easily found by the next user. There is no fuss about how many towels are taken when you check in. And finally, an occasional party at the club is also enjoyable as are the get-togethers at Kansas City games and events. Management definitely tries hard to develop a sense of community around the club and it is much appreciated. I highly recommend Genesis, which by the way, if you are out of town and there is a Genesis where you are, your membership is good there as well. I've been to the one in North Topeka, which was nice so I didn't miss my workout, but I prefer mine right here in Leavenworth!

Fantastic experience: Great amenities and knowledgeable trainers! Plenty of equipment no waiting on anything. Locker rooms are nice well stocked and steam sauna. Daycare for ppl with children. I love coming here, I don't feel body slammed there are people of all fitness levels and ages.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Genesis for about a year and a half. The gym is always well kept and organized and the staff is always friendly. I have had two personal trainers in my time there and they have both been amazing and a perfect fit for my abilities and personality. The only thing I could change about the gym is adding fans! It gets so hot and there's no circulation of air in there.

Fantastic experience: I wasn't a fan at first. Customer service was lacking and the Personal trainer I was assigned on intake didn't do any followup. That said I kept going and added family members because when you get to know the folks there and bring things to their attention they address the problems. Two family members signed on with Austin for personal training and were seeing results. The gym has lots to offer. Over all its a great gym and we've recommended it to friends.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the atmosphere here! The gym is always clean and the equipment is organized! The employees are really nice! My son went to the daycare there and he loved it! The only thing I wish this gym had to offer is tanning and a daycare package. Overall a great gym.

Fantastic experience: I have two small issues (not complaints); one the showers and the family swim time. I like a good shower post workout, but the water pressure is pretty weak. A more flexible schedule for family swim would be good too. Aside from those two items my family loves the gym. The daycare staff is excellent!
